Your body was made for it. In this warm, interactive workshop, you'll learn how to prepare, lean into your body's natural physiology, and build trust in the process through pregnancy and labour, with practical tools to support your birth experience.
Fear isn’t where birth begins. It’s something that builds over time — through stories of urgency, intervention, and the idea that you just have to “get through it.” Over time, birth can start to feel like something that happens to you, instead of something your body is designed to do.
But that’s not the truth your body knows.
In the workshop we come back to the foundation - the physiology of birth. You’ll begin to understand how your body is constantly adapting and coordinating throughout pregnancy and labour - from hormonal shifts that guide contractions, to how your cervix softens and opens, to how your baby moves and positions for birth.
You’ll see how your nervous system, hormones, and environment all work together to support the process. And you'll walk away with tools to support your labour and birth.
Our goal is to make the science simple and practical, so you can feel informed, grounded, and confident — and begin to see birth differently.
Not something to fear or endure, but a body-led process you can move through with trust.
Because your body already knows the way.
